His research focus is on Semantic Web technologies, Service-Oriented Architectures, Linked Data and Social Media. José María received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Seville, Spain, with a thesis on improving Semantic Web Services discovery and ranking using a lightweight and integrated approach. He also has a MSc. in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Seville. José María has participated in several national and European research projects (e.g., MSEE, SOA4All, SUPPORT, S-Cube, PRELIDA, BYTE), including public-private partnerships. He has published more than 20 articles as conference papers, workshop papers, technical reports and journal articles. José María has also co-organized national conferences and has been member of several conference and workshop program committees, and external reviewer for international journals.</div>
